Hey You | 10 Aug 2017 2:02 p.m. PST |
It's tough to pick out just one, but I would have to say Midway was my favorite. My brother and I played it over and over. It was fun not knowing where the enemy was and hoping that I found them before they found me. |

Source of the Nile, but then I'm prejudiced. Of the others, Waterloo stands out, since it was my first. |

Battle of the Bulge (the original 1965-ish edition) was the very first real wargame I ever bought or played! (Not counting RISK). So I have a special fondness for it, and have probably played it as much as any other. |

Don't leave any out of the poll. Plenty of places on the web to get a comprehensive list. Otherwise you are going to have a lot of "you left out my favorite game". |

If it's by number of plays, then Starship Troopers (the original version). If it's unrequited love, then Magic Realm. |

Advanced Squad Leader by far--have been playing this since 1985 (and original Squad Leader since 1977) as to me it is the One True Wargame. Of course I play others (from AH, DG,GMT,MMP,OSG) but this is the one game I always come back to. |

Wow – so many of them! ASL, AF/D, WS & IM, Richthofen's War, Bismarck, Jutland, Midway, Submarine, Tobruk and many others. Favorites? In terms of most played, Richthofen's War when I was a kid, ASL and AF/D later. |
