"Shaping the narrative of your character is but one piece of this wasteland wandering you've set out for. After all, what is a person without their many experiences? Well you'll experience a darn lot, let me tell you! Between questing, killing, drifting, and chilling, you've got a busy schedule to attend to. When you set out to explore the world before you, you'll have a few landmarks to guide your quest. These landmarks and the map surrounding them will depend on the scenario you and your fellow survivors choose to play. The four scenarios included in Fallout will be familiar to seasoned fans of the franchise, featuring The Capital Wasteland, The Pitt, The Commonwealth, and Far Harbor. Though the distinctive locations in each scenario are predetermined, the rest of the map will vary with every setup, allowing each survivor to suffer as many unique deaths as they please, game after game after game. The wasteland experience of Fallout (ZX02) comes to your tabletop in Q4 of 2017!" link link link link Main page fantasyflightgames.com Amicalement Armand |

I really enjoy the Fall Out video games. I enjoy lots of board games. But I am going to pass on this one. I get a lot of play value still from the video games. I just don't see what the board game will add. The Doom board game had a very different feel from the video game, it was okay, and did allow for some team play. Maybe that is the aspect that the Fall Out game will give. I am sure it will have very high quality components as FFG does do thier games with high quality components. |

So Fantasy Flight Scores again. Looks like losing GW licenses was nothing to them. |

I'm torn between this and the Mophidius game. I'll likely buy the Mophidius, because the miniatures are freakin' awesome, but Fantasy Flight just has such a great track record with GAMES in general that I know it's going to be good…I might just have to buy both. Yeah, screw it. I'm buying both. And this should be in SF Discussion, but that's another matter. Still love ya, Armand… |
