Interesting as usual. Need to get some other minis off the work bench so I can paint up these Nobades/Blemmye I mentioned before. That and pick some up for the Nubians. |

The Nobades are a mix of colonial Fuzzy with archers from the Old Glory Biblical Nubian list. The cavalry are Classical Indian with shields and hair-do treated with Milliput. |

Thought they looked a bit fuzzy. I seemed to recall that being mentioned on your site. I was actually considering a similar move – I got some Essex Ansar and Beja as part of a lot off Ebay that I will otherwise not get around to using in the foreseeable future. On the other hand, I so like the looks of Donnington's Nubian spearman – fits the description in the list quite nicely -
