As I report to you, it is 6:20am on 5 August 1757 (2017). The morning of the Seven Years' War Battle of Madras, India is arrived. Clive's British Army and allies have not yet arrived, but the sound of movement near Madras can be heard. Meanwhile the French Army de Bussy is processing onto the battlefield here: link It is a very short story told by captioned photos. On this occasion, captions are almost totally dialogue from three officers and Nawab Basmati. Some are troubled and don't care who knows. I hope you take a look. Respectfully, Bill P. |
