This game will grip you from the start, using unique individual stats cards and markers to produce a realistic simulation with a very cinematic feeling with no need for charts, tables or complex calculations. You can play with as few as 3-4 miniatures each on a 2' by 2' board and finish a fully satisfying game over a lunch break! You'll have a pretty good grasp of the rules by the time you finish your first game and chances are you will find it is more rewarding than any other ww2 skirmish game you have ever tried. Don't believe this? Try it. You can download the full rules, sample cards and all game tokens you need for free from the website: 1-48tactic.com Give it a go, you will never go back! Is there anything else around like this? |

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. (not interested, why open the post – and then "spam" a reply)? Geesh!!! The guy's trying to getting a line of miniatures funded on a Kickstarter. He's got the rules (free to download btw), play tested and ready to support the game. He's got resin terrain features that integrate with the system (optional) designed. He's got game playing aids (free to download btw) ready for the game system (and a set of 3D versions within the KS package available if desired). There's individual soldier cards (free to download btw for a try), which will be featured for each of the miniatures being planned. Yeah, this guy "Claudio" (who I don't know, he lives in Italy I think), who has a company called Baueda, and which has a history and track record (and some nice products that support other historical periods too), has put his time and energy into trying to get this game/rules/miniatures/terrain idea into being. I happen to think what he's offering is pretty cool. Certainly not for everyone, what is, but he's got something to offer quite a few might be interested in, and with a lot of product and design integration planned. Very happy there's guys out there taking the riskS to do these things for this hobby of mine! |

YUP Flyxwire has it. A bit to over enthusisatic and short on facts but give the guy some slack. While its not for me. A quick look through indicates it is a game that has been thought about and not just thrown together. |
