Is there anyone currently working on something like this?

Bare headed, no helmets.
Collared jumpsuits.
Boots.
Either with or without weapons/tools.

TonicNH,

Wow, I totally forgot that GZG figure Fjodin painted up like a vault dweller!

A few tiny changes here and there (with putty or paint) and they fit perfectly.

Dan
PS. I haven't seen any recent posts by Fjodin anywhere, on his own blog or here on TMP. Does anyone know what happened to him?

Dan,
I'm pretty sure Rebel had a pack or two of lightly dressed figures.

TonicNH03 Aug 2017 4:56 a.m. PST

thinkig about it it should be possible to do some headswaps on the colonial security packs to obtain some armed vault dwellers?

Narwhal King,

28mm? I just googled Fallout Vault Dwellers and these came up:

Chances are that you might end up having a lot more choices for boiler suit in that size.

Khurasan has 15mm evil henchmen in boilersuits, would take a head swap.

The 15mm one are a good idea as you need a lot of figures if you are starting out (and some of the links above are to my blog). GZG NAC infantry have figures that do very nicely for Fallout 3 era combat armour

If you are for doing it in 28mm Crooked Dice do a number of figures called Minions (think James Bond in a jumpsuit and safety helmet). They have detachable heads which makes conversion a bit easier. Just as an aside, a lot of wild west stuff might be useful too. I know it might not go down well in certain quarters but there is some mileage in using some chaos cultists as raiders, they have just about the right look.

There is also the miniatures game that I hear is coming out.

The mini game is 32mm, which would look weird with 28mm around them

MRHarold,

That figure definitely has potential. Is he part of a set of other similar ones, or just one-of?

Dan, he is the banshee pilot, available by himself.
