Fenian forces painted!
I've finished my Fenian figures for the Battle of Ridgeway. I`ll be using Sharp Practice 2 rules (although one of the nice things about basing figures individually is that you can easily adapt to other rules, I was thinking of trying `The Men Who Would be Kings`rules which are for Colonial gaming but might work for a quick play convention game). I have some British regulars and Canadian Volunteers painted but I am still waiting for the Perry`s to come out with figures for the Queens Own Rifles (and some `Red Sash` Canadian militia and First Nations warriors would be great. The First Nations offered their services to the Crown but they were politely turned away as this was à white mans war`, rather `generous`of them as for a long time the Irish weren`t considered `white`. Could`ve used then at Ridgeway). I have taken considerable liberties with the Fenian`s uniforms but I did want to differentiate the uniforms unit by unit. Figures are entirely metal and plastic Perry ACW. The Fenian flags were hand painted on green card while the American stars and stripes, two of which were carried by the Fenians at Ridgeway, are Perry`s. See pictures for unit identity and details.

Excellent work – I like the idea of the different uniforms for the various Fenian regiments – certainly helps differentiate them

Love to see your Canadians and Brits!
