I understand that the Legion Condor ground troops wore "khaki" uniforms in the SCW. What color paints would you use for those uniforms? I am a Vallejo man, so I am considering Beige Brown, English Uniform, or US Field Drab as options. Would you recommend these or other model paint colors? Thanks, Jeff |

According to what I've read about the matter in a Spanish wargaming forum, a recommended option is British Uniform brown. |

Lluis; Burnt Umber or Chocolate Brown for the helmet? Jeff |

The Condor Legion uniforms I've seen are a more tan shade than British Uniform Brown. On my figures I've used a craft paint by Americana "Honey Brown" highlighted with a lighter shade. It's a decent match for the illustrations in the Osprey Condor Legion title. |

Thanks! I went with Vallejo Beige Brown in the end, as I thought the English Uniform too yellowish. It seems Vallejo changed their English Uniform pigment over the last 10 years, as my old bottle is darker and browner than the new bottle I recently replaced it with! |
