I managed to have a go at re-fighting the Battle of Brunanburh today, using a scenario first published in Miniature Wargames 28 with DBA rules. See here for more details: link

Thanks very much. Makes me want to drag out all my old copies of Miniature Wargames! I'll get round to it in a bit, but I have been meaning to do a kind of a general review of the first 25 issues of the magazine, with a particular slant on how much would still be useful to wargamers today. |
