I have only played Kings of War a couple times. It just didn't feel heroic fantasy enough for me. But I did end each game saying how great it would be for an Ancients game.
So now there are official Ancients lists but my only gaming opponent wants to stick with his fantasy armies. Has anyone tried to play any games matching the Ancients lists against any of the Fantasy lists?
If so, how did they work out?
Thanks

It works just fine, the units are the same size, same points costs. There is an addendum in the back of the historical supplement to add monsters, magic (druids, etc), into your historical armies. So you could run a Celtic army with whatever mythical additions you wanted.
