I am wanting to buy some 6mm fantasy models from Microworld Games, because they are just so cool. What is stopping is lack of a setting to portray the models in that I am not already using in other scales. Now I am not above using one-off quick run mini-campaigns but was thinking along the lines of something more permanent.

So looking at their range here: link

What would be a good campaign setting that would fit with most of their line?

I am using their range, with others, for the WHFB setting but with different rules.

Most fantasy trilogies would work or RPG settings.

How about the "evil armies' Are fighting for the common creature and the "good army" is fight to maintain the the old ways.

How about the well organised so called good guys, are attacking the bag guys only the bad guys just want to have fun, and not pay taxs/tribute/sacrifices, and the so called good guys with the shiny armour are power hungry control freaks…

Those are all great and will use some. However I am thinking more along the lines of the world itself. I am probably thinking too much into it. I need a semblance of plausibility or order to my campaign worlds. I don't know why my mind works that way.

I looked at this a while ago and ended up going with a quasi WHFB theme for the armies as that seems to be what the figures are modelled the closest to, and KOW for rules. Both KOW and WHFB have campaign books.
