At least one of those photos is NOT from Normandy – British infantry with No.3 rifles, which were out of regular service in Europe well before 1944. Its probably a photo from a training exercise or something from North Africa, from 1942-3 at the latest, troops are wearing summer or tropical uniforms – shorts and rolled up sleeves, long socks.

Some of the shots of US troops are loading in England – the truck Lil' Nellie has a trailer chained to the front tow hooks – its very hard to push a trailer with a straight chain.

Actually a lot of the pictures aren't from Normandy.

Not uncommon to see photos misattributed. Worst one I have seen claimed to be a Panther in the Ardennes 1944. Dead giveaway that that it wasn't was the easy to spot knocked out T-34 in the background!
