Wow! That's a mighty impressive model! I'm assuming it's scratch-built? Have you done any in-progress photos? I'm curious whether it's balsa, or foam core or what. The hull must've been a beast to get done right. |

Fantastic job on a nice kit. Minor point, unless sailing close to the wind the flag would be pointing anywhere but straight back. How did you attach the mainsail to the mast? Are those little bits of rigging tied in loops or something else? Thanks! Bob |

Thanks for the comments all. I do NOT have the skills to scratchbuild one of these unfortunately. They are available for purchase from firelockgames.com The kits are quite reasonably priced considering the quality and what you receive. I do know the flag is backwards, it is removable for the exact purpose of showing wind direction and for versatility. The mainsail is attached with small plastic coated jewellery wire, looped around the mast and threaded around the spar. |
