Last night I played my first game of 'Blood & Plunder', a 28mm historical miniatures wargame set in the 17th century during the golden age of piracy. As this was a first go at the rules, we kept things pretty basic so far as the game itself went. But the terrain we played on was anything but basic – it was simply exquisite! Matt Barker of Printable Scenery put together an amazing Caribbean scene featuring his company's products. The buildings, bridges, a galleon, wharves, a crane, even a mangrove swamp, were all designed by Printable Scenery and run off on Matt's 3D printer. Here's a couple of photos, but pop by my 'Dressing The Lines' blog to see even more: link

I agree, the land terrain is superb. Might heighten the effect to give the water a bit more 'oomph'. It works but it could be much better (I realize probably a base color on the gaming table), especially to study the color of the ocean, more greenish than so blue – except for the famous 'blue hole' of course. |

Terrific. Ours won't look near as nice tomorrow when we try the rules for the first time. |
