What's the best thinner for airbrushing with Privateer Press Acrylics?

For 90% of my airbrush thinning I use distilled water. I occasionally use Vallejo airbrush thinner on occasion. I have using alcohol because atomized alcohol can be very bad for you. I always were a filter mask as well, it's disconcerting to occasionally cough up flecks of paint, especially red.
