The last batch of these fast play TYW and ECW rules are still available. Designed for any figure scale or basing convention these rules use a grid based system that eliminates any need for measuring. They feature infantry brigades, Tercios and regiments of horse as the key units linked with core mechanisms that encourage the use of historically employed formations. Currently available as a hard copy on eBay at £7.50 GBP, or as a PDF at £5.00 GBP from myself. |

No link my Liege, but I can answer any questions! |

We tried it. It might just be due to its very precise adherence to the tactical formalities of the era, but we did find it a trifle staid and slow. |

Oh dear! The infantry fights are intended to be a real attritional grind, essentially with one Brigade engaging another but I would hope the combats on the cavalry wings to be much more dynamic. Were you using unit sizes suggested in the rules? Lance. |

I can't remember the details Lance, but I know we played it as intended. I recall thinking at the time that perhaps there are some conflicts that, at the grand tactical level, just aren't well suited to wargaming, however, I don't discount the possibility that small, less rigidly formal TYW battles and skirmishes might make for entertaining games. |

Hi Lance, I'm currently searching for a set of TYW rules and the various snippets on this forum about Gott Mit Uns have piqued my interest. You mention above that a PDF version can be had from you for £5.00 GBP Is that still the case and, if it is, how would I get hold of a copy? |

Yes they are still available in hard copy from Magister Militum, Caliver, or Dave Lanchester books. Also on eBay. PDF available from myself Lance.flint59@gmail.com Cheers, Lance. |
