Good work!

I agree on your assessment of their look.

Thanks. Glad it's not just me. :-)

Well done, and I also think your assessment is spot-on.

I enjoyed Warhammer very much in the Old World, and I can bring myself to play AoS, but I can't stand the new setting and bizarre new model ranges. Maybe I'm just too old and fuddy-duddy for it, but I still love my old school High Elves and Bretonians.

I'll give it a try, DC, but am more interested in Kings of War.

I give Kings of War two thumbs up. It's breathed new life into my Oldhammer armies.

Nice figures. I was not sold on the new setting but it has grown on me. The rules are nice as well. If I want to play mass battles, Warhammer 8th or 9th Age still work well. Don't really like kings of war.

Thanks. Yeah, I am not sure why most of us are now giving Age of Sigmar a grudging second look. It could be the introduction of points, but perhaps, something else.

AoS is a fine game. The models are over the top, yes, but I admit to liking a number of them. Stil, I only own the starter set and a bit more. I'm working on several, mostly 6th Edition Warhammer armies at the moment. I blame Mars Miniatures for that!
Kings Of War is a good game, but I'm still partial to 6th Edition.
Having checked out and trying out several other fantasy offerings, none met my needs for what Warhammer provided.
Mighty Armies being a sole exception in that it gives such a good, balanced game.

I'm willing to give AoS a try.. Took 2 years of holding off, but the General's Handbook seems to have done the trick..
