The Lone Star Historical Miniatures (LSHM) holds its annual summer mid-war FOW tournament this Saturday. Our theme this year is the 75th Anniversary of the Stalingrad Campaign (July 1942 – March 1943).

All players submit a list of 1,600pts, but if you run a Stalingrad theme army then you get 1,680pts. This works perfectly for me and my Russian Army:

I am fielding 5 platoon/company units -
HQ
3 x infantry companies
1 x tank company
1 x artillery battalion

I will use my 57 infantry stands as a defense in depth (dug in of course).

My T-34/76 company (10 tanks) will be my mobile reserve and attack force.

The artillery battalion with its 12 x 76mm guns will provide good long range fire and anti-tank capability.

This should be a fun event – we are holding this tournament at Dragon's Lair in San Antonio Texas – watch TMP for results and ongoing play. If you reside in Texas contact us and join the Flames of War San Antonio (FOWSA) group.
