Do you know of generic or fantasy-friendly objective card decks or similar objective systems? On some searches, I see some WW2 (one FoW), and a 40K objective card deck. Do these objectives suggest a scenario for the game as you choose which ones apply to each side? Any recommendations for a system that has worked well for you? I'm thinking big skirmish, which to me means individually based figures moving in groups, not in formation so they don't represent large masses of troops. It just occurred to me that I should look at Nordic Weasel stuff. andy |

I'm going to give this a shot. link I think I'll write the specific setup and success notes on cards, with some simplification, because I think the fluff could be distracting. I may have to tweak for fantasy. andy |

You could look at the FrostGrave Ulterior Motives cards |

Neat, thanks. Have you used Ulterior Motives? Any idea on how flexible they'd be to other systems? I'm willing to tinker, but don't want to have to do it all. andy |

Have you used Ulterior Motives? Any idea on how flexible they'd be to other systems? We have used Ulterior Motives for our last three Frostgrave games and they were lots of fun. The objectives and rules are very specific to Frostgrave; the basic premises could be adapted for other games, I suspect, but you'd have to do a good deal of tweaking to use the actual cards for another game.
