Curious what peoples experience with new Editions of rule sets Fire and Fury Original to now Fire and Fury 2nd is just the latest in updated rules. For me I will likely continue to play the original with a few of the suggested tweaks – for me the new edition took too large a step towards the Regimental version – while it will make it easier to shift between figure rations, by adding in many of the pieces of the regimental rules it lost a bit of its unique identity. Note I am a huge Fire and Fury fan – playing both the Original and the Regimental versions. A couple of questions Which rules sets have you welcomed updated versions? Which rule sets do you still play the original? For me – Battles for Empire I welcomed I did not welcome the new versions of Fire and Fury, Empire (though their first upgrade was needed – by the time they got to the 5th edition I was done), and DBR. |

I play DBA 2.2 no interest in the new edition. Enjoyed getting TSATF 25th edition. |
