Hi folks, I've just added Crossroads and T Junctions to the Normandy Bocage roads range from Take Cover Scenics. Designed for 20mm – 28mm gaming, these are BIG pieces!! We're talking a 9" (23cm) length on each axis for the Crossroads and 9" on the main section for the T. The road width is 5" (12.5cm), with the attached hedgerows taking up approx 2", leaving approx 3" of "useable" road. As with the rest of the Normandy-Style Bocage Roads, they're semi-flexible, textured with wheel ruts and tank tracks, and have hedgerows attached to the base. They come fully painted and have flock and static grass added – in other words, as with all Take Cover Scenics products – they're ready to use on the table. The default setting is to have tank tracks, but I can make them without – just ask when ordering. I've included some photos of vehicles and figures to give you an idea of scale, and to show just how large these pieces are! The WW2 Americans are 20mm scale, and the Germans are 28mm.
Available now in the Online Shop – £12.50 GBP for the T and £12.99 GBP for the Crossroads. takecoverscenics.co.uk Thanks for looking, John. |

John, Do all of your rural road (straight and T section above) come with the hedges attached to the base? That would be great. I would imagine all I would need to do is order additional hedge pieces from you to create more fields? |

Hi ccmatty – short answer is yes and no! Confused yet? Allow me to explain! :) OK, my Flexible rural roads (1" wide for 6-10mm, 2" wide for 15-20mm and 3" wide for 20-28mm) don't have hedges attached. They have wheel ruts, tank tracks, and tons of ground cover, but no hedges. However, the Normandy-style Bocage Roads (pictured above) are designed to give that Normandy Bocage look and feel for 20-28mm scale gaming, and these do have hedges attached. Feel free to email me on john@takecoverscenics.co.uk or message me on Facebook as Take Cover Scenics if you'd like to "chat" about the kind of thing you're after, including options like potential customization of road widths, hedge heights, width of gateway sections, price, etc. Hope this helps. In the meantime, here's pic of a custom order I recently did where a customer wanted the Normandy Bocage roads but no tank tracks…
