Just recieved the new Warlord Games Highlander Regiment box of 24 metal Highlander infantry. Superb set without a doubt. HOWEVER. It's annoying that Warlord crams 12 metal napoleonic figures with already fiddly bayonets into a blister. Every single bayonet is broken off the rifle already. Before they even have seen the table top. For me it's a pretty common occurrence with most vendors (those that fill up a plastic baggy with a bunch of dudes). It would just be nice to be able to clean up some minor flash and drive on with the business of painting. Rant over. These are really nice figures though. Looks like they will fit in just fine with Victrix Highlanders as well and being metal they feel just right. Also got a box of the new Household Brigade Cavalry. First impressions are, as usual with Warlord plastic cavalry, another great set with lots of options.

So, what did you do? The redoubtable TMP member gisbygeo has a system for replacing them. It's a little involved for me, but you might try it.

I have had many orders from Warlord over the years and have never had a broken bayonet or sword etc. Normally, the figures are packed in the blisters with a layer of sponge to prevent them from being jostled and broken.

I would almost guarantee if you wrote them & took a pic, they would send you another pack. I've found Warlord are some of the BEST out there at replacing things! Even stuff like broken bayonets!
