Last week I ordered some Perry stuff from Neal at the War Store, good prices and they got it shipped quickly. It was coming UPS and so I was watching the tracking info. It got here to Austin and then, horror of horrors it was transferred to the US POST OFFICE for delivery. This of course ate up a whole day while they transferred it and the USPS got around to putting it on a truck. But finally the website said that it was delivered, great right? Not so much, I get home and it's nowhere to be found. Depressed, I thought that someone had stolen it. So a little while ago I took out the trash, only to find my box hidden behind the trashcan. Only the USPS would think that was a good spot to put it.

Earlier this morning, when I saw that the package was coming via "sure post" I had emailed Neal saying that I had wished I had know that was the shipping method because I don't like "sure post" or it's cousin "smart post" where the package comes most of the way via UPS or FedEx and then is handed to the USPS for delivery. Neal emailed me back asking for my comments on it and telling me that the USPS is really putting on a big push to get them to ship that way. Kudos to Neal for soliciting comments from his clientele over this. Generally speaking if the WarStore carries it I buy it from them and Neal and his dedication to customer service is why.

I have been ordering from Neal for years. My goddaughter got married last weekend on Long Island, New York. Turns out the store was 3 minutes from where I was staying. It's a nice store with friendly staff. Most of what they had at the store was the usual GW, Malifux, Hordes, card games and such. Nothing historical. It was nice to visit. I am sure the majority of their stock is in a warehouse.

Neal and The Warstore are eminently reliable. Years ordering, the few minor issues have always been resolved quickly and courteously. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

Yep, if the Perrys are in stock, they go out the door pretty fast at the War Store.

Thanks for all the props folks.

July has been a busy month for us as our son got married.

@45th Div. Most of the Historical stuff is at the warehouse, which is about 30 minutes east of the retail location. The warehouse is open to the public and we have several regulars that just come here to shop.
