I have been using B.P for Awi for many years and with a few ammendments ( morale , Brit Gren 3 , militia 5 , no 3 moves and fire etc ,
, no charging through own units and a few more etc ) gives a very enjoyable game .
Easy , full of flavour (if played in the correct spirit ) gives a very gentlemanly experience . I am lucky I have a 13 by 7 set up so can take take on large actions .
Over the hills , of course made for Naps but could they be used for AWI with a few changes or adding the correct optionall rules . I find the fatigue
mechanic interesting . How do both games compare and play ?
Is one easy, has a better flow , quicker as time is limited , smoother system , enjoyment factor ?

For my money OTH is a much superior game for Napoleonics. For a start it's a complete set with all the options in one book. That book also covers all the nations involved.

With some suitable tweaks it might do very well for ACW.

I suggest asking on the FB forum – the authors are very helpful.

Over the Hills would work for AWI , I am at present working on converting them to cover earlier wars whilst my fellow author Quinton is sorting a ACW copy
