"A new Guidebook App for Historicon 2017" Topic

Here it is, kids. A new Guidebook app for Historicon 2017.

Changes are pretty minor. I go over it in some detail on the standard blog post, HERE: link

The twitter link hashtags are #historicon, #historicon17, #historicon2017 and #hmgs_inc.

You can also post to the Facebook HMGS page, or post your game experiences to the app itself (photo album).

Seminars and Hobby U have been combined into their own list, making them easier to find.

Tournaments are included.

Thanks for doing this again, it is a great tool and appreciated.

Late note: I got a couple of messages from people inquiring just how they add items from SCHEDULE to MY SCHEDULE. The reason you couldn't find out where that was is that I had checkins turned OFF by mistake. I have fixed this after a lot of manual labor and you should be able to create your personal schedules now.

Feel free to "CHECK IN" with the guidebook (under ATTENDANCE) but please keep in mind, that's checking in ONLY WITH GUIDEBOOK. It isn't registering for a convention or an event-- HMGS doesn't use mobile ticketing (yet).

I believe (but I'm not sure-- never tested it) that if you CHECK IN, you can use the little in-app email system to email other checked in attendees. This might be a cool feature to test if anyone wants to give it a try.
