All,
I wanted to share what I think is a neat experience I had today. I was on a train headed to New York City (a Fathers Day gift). I was wearing my Abraham Lincoln Brigade baseball cap which I do often. I am I should add, a dues paying member of the the Veterans. Anyway, I have never had anyone question what the cap signified. Sitting across from me on the train was an older couple (early 80s), they struck up a conversation with me about the cap. Not only did they know what the cap meant, but both husband and wife had family that fought and died in the SCW. It was a neat experience and made me happy to have the cap on my head.

Very interesting to hear this … must have been a great experience, especially as the couple understood what it meant.
