…than a package from Litko. It almost always means I'm finishing a project! |

Love that burnt wood smell that reminds me of how much I miss an open fire. Always sorry when it fades away. |

I made an order to Litko today. I never get that happy feeling--The $12 USD+ to ship my little order always feels more like extortion. |

I only ever see this stuff when clients supply it for basing the figures I've painted for them. I think it's the best stuff out there but, for me, I prefer to buy 2 mm MDF in 3' x 4' sheets (for about £25.00 GBP for a pack of 5 sheets) and then cut my own. It makes a 60 x 60 base 1.6 pence each – but, I don't use round bases except for command stands, so it's easy. You cut it with a Stanley knife and a steel rule. 2 mm MDF is sold as picture frame backing from picture frame material suppliers. I also use it for making buildings. |

Love that burnt wood smell that reminds me of how much I miss an open fire. Always sorry when it fades away. I thought I was the only person who enjoyed that smell from laser cut mdf bases. |
