I placed an order with Foundry May 25 to take advantage of their special sales; never received any shipment confirmation, as the order confirmation indicated I would, so emailed an inquiry last week. Was told the package was mailed May 30, according to the "manual log". It's been nearly a month now and a small packet should take that long to arrive from the UK to Texas. Should I assume this order has been lost -- if it was actually mailed at all and hasn't fallen through the cracks? Has anyone else experienced a delay or problem with a Foundry order in this last month, or from this May sale? My past experience with Foundry has generally been good, but not entirely, and I haven't placed an order from them in well over a year, maybe two. Things change. I've already had to pay the charge and now would like to have the figures. |

I ordered on may 30th. Got a note saying it was sent out June 1st. Wrote to them on June 21st. They said it definitely went out on June 1st. Still waiting for delivery. |

I'll keep monitoring this, obviously, and report further news here. Thanks for the feedback! |

ISIS, et al, effects on the Royal Mail, perhaps? I have emailed a second time requesting any tracking information and real shipment confirmation, but after three days there's still been no further word. I can only give this another week and then I'll have to reluctantly give notice that I'll have to open a dispute with PayPal before my options are closed off by the time limits. |

I have noticed that many of my UK to US shipments have been slowed down by quite a bit. What usually takes 2 weeks now has taken sometimes between 5-7 weeks. |

Ordered a couple of packs from Foundry yesterday. Arrived (UK) today….go figure (maybe the wait depends on whether or not they need to cast parts of the order?) |

It's not only the delay in delivery that upsets and alarms me, but the lack of interest in replying to my inquiries about these justifiable concerns. I suppose if I have to file that PayPal dispute next week, they'll have to notice and respond to THAT. I bring this topic up here because I've noticed in the past a lot of pro and con discussion about The Foundry and consumer affairs on TMP. |

Update: July 7, earlier this week filed an initial complaint with PayPal, which in turn forwards this to the merchant and instructs those involved to settle things in a timely fashion. But still no response all week, so tomorrow I will have to escalate this to a Claim, in which case Foundry will be compelled to refund the charge (or rather, PayPal will authorize a refund to my card and presumably take this up with Foundry themselves for reimbursement. I'm really surprised at the way this has played out. In the past, Foundry has sometimes been slow but they've never ignored a grievance like this before or failed to track a package or offer to make good on losses or damage. I've been a customer of theirs for decades but after this experience, I'm afraid they have lost my business for the foreseeable future. |

Update July 19: PayPal has ruled in my favor and will be refunding my account for the 66 pounds. The Foundry never replied to PayPal's request for more information or offered any explanation regarding their part in this transaction. Just plain weird, this behavior, if you ask me. Sorry, Foundry, I have bought hundreds of your figures in the past, and I truly wanted the figures from this order, but this is the end of the line for me with you. |

Since Bill decided to block us scrubs while on vacation this is the soonest I could reply. Foundry came through, though it took 30 days. I kept them advised so they know there was a delay, I still am happy as a whole and will test the mail again in the future. |

Aren't you going to write a C & W song to excise the pain, Piper? |
piper909 | 26 Jul 2017 9:40 p.m. PST |
I will dust off my banjo and musical saw and try my hand at "Foundry Done Me Wrong Blues". (I actually started a string of C&W doggerel here, but it got too hard to frame a narrative around the rhymes, so I scrubbed it all. I guess I'm not fit to be a hat act.) |
