Not too bad for a first try and being five and a half!

Come on by and read some more, if you can, in my blog post #1,001!

Very impressive, no matter what the age! Well done! What scale or size are those figures?

Five and a half? Wow that's an awfully strong start at that age. Good for him, I see a lot of good times and fun projects ahead of him.

I couldn't tie my shoes at five and a half.

Great job! By the time he is 10, his painted collection will be awesome!

Whatisitgood4atwork25 Jun 2017 7:42 p.m. PST

I'd field those. That's good work. You can both be proud of that.

Ivan DBA25 Jun 2017 8:08 p.m. PST

That's incredible! Be sure to save them.

Oberlindes Sol LIC25 Jun 2017 8:22 p.m. PST

Beautiful. You must save these figures for your son's retrospective show in 2037.

I think he paints better than me.

He paints better than I did in my 20's! Great job!

Hey guys!

Thanks for the kind comments! Oh, they are 28mm Perry figures:)

BTW, to be clear, HIS soldier is the one on the right. Mine is on your left. Good sign that people thought he painted both:)

His is better – his blue pompon is more controlled…

Kidding

Really nice that you get to share some time. My middle son paints a mean tank, but the eldest got lured by the Evil Empire. He won a shop competition but it was dwarfs and orcs so that doesn't count…

Awesome work well done young man.

His figures look better than mine! Great work and I hope you encourage him to keep at it and not to stop! If this is a sample of his work at 5 1/2 years of age, imagine what his work will look like when he hits his teens! He just might have a natural eye and talent for this. Again, great work!

This is about par for me for once.
