So having played a number of Black Powder Games for AWI I was asked to playtest British Grenadier a week ago, interesting game, although I ma not convinced, full write up and game report on the blog.

I think your issues with the game regarding time are valid. It is a matter of balance between play time and reflection of the period being played. If you can leave the game up for a while British Grenadier is great, if you want to get a result in a couple of hours it is probably not the game for you. |

Agreed Vigilant, I think we will try some simple amends before giving up on them but think it will be a choice between period feel or playability unfortunately. Willkeep everyone updated. |

Funny, played BG twice. Monmouth and Brandywine. Once you know the rules it played to conclusion in three hours. Four tops. |
