Some very sturdy poses there but perhaps the shields are a bit 'regular' looking. |

Mind that it is a preview. We have not pictures of the actual sprue yet. Maybe they will include other shield types in the final product. |

The "regular" shields and armour makes me think of using them as regularized auxiliaries in a Roman army rather than in a Gallic one. |

The mail and shields would most likely classify them as heavy cavalry, rather than light auxiliaries? Thoughts, gentlemen? |

So cool looking… I will need to dump my old lead in the to do bins… |

Main issue with them is that they all have round shields when there's next to no evidence of Celtic cavalry using such. |

Beautiful flow and animation. |

look more like those that would have appeared in Caesar's armies as mercenaries (wearing mail) rather than the indigenous gauls |
French Wargame Holidays | 02 Dec 2018 3:13 p.m. PST |
There are different shields in the set, I will possibly chop them up a bit more though and add some unarmoured Cheers Matt |

The Victrix plastic horses are the best plastic horses I've seen. I wish the Gripping Beast plastic sets had horses like these. |
