This was part of the kickstarter campaign for printable Arab buildings. Over the last couple of weeks I have been printing out the pieces while I was at work or asleep. This weekend I started painting and putting it all together. Nice simple makeup, although I started going crazy painting all those little timber supports sticking out of the buildings. I will probably do a bit more weathering to tone down the contrast between the exposed bricks and the rest of the walls. This project has even gotten me enthused enough to renew my Old Glory Army membership and orders some French Foreign Legion figures. Then the Arabs!

Look forward to seeing photos of it under attack. It's really terrific. thumbs up

Very "Marx" looking playset. I mean that in the most complimentary way. It will look even more incredible with beautifully painted figures fighting in and around it.

Looks fantastic! Time to line up some inspirational movies.

It needs internal stairs for people to fall off onto thatched roof lean-to's.

Eyes like a hawk there too, what cheap ass, Chinese company built this thing?

Waco Joe18 Jun 2017 7:23 a.m. PST

Lol, I forgot to print the stairs. Did them last night and on the painting table today. Don't know about the thatch roofs though. grin I intend to flesh it out a bit more. Perhaps a small building to serve as a powder room. And somewhere I need to work in a small viking ship which I even have the files for!

thanks all for the remarks.

Sweet!

@Waco … you should also print out a damaged wall section or two. Would make the fort look more vulnerable, but giving it a weak spot will add even more character!

Waco Joe22 Jun 2017 7:44 a.m. PST

@Seattle. I have the file for a damaged section. Just have not printed it yet. The idea of the game I am envisioning is your typical Arab/Berber assault, giving them a few sticks of dynamite to try to breech the walls.
