Wondering if people moved to new rules or still playing Warhammer Ancients. |

I am not doing much beyond painting right now but I am eyeing To The Strongest as a rule set. |

I'm just sitting here waiting, nothing seems to have gotten everybody back on the same page yet in this area, the northwest! |

Nothing around here has got everyone energized, either. A few guys play The Art of War, but there is not any Ancients buzz going on. I'd get back into DBA, and I am going to use HOTT for my Hyborean Age project. Anymore, I don't have the time or inclination to make large armies. |

I got Clash of Empires as my WAB successor, but no one plays. Not many played WAB locally that I knew of, for that matter… Damon. |

KOW Historical has a bit of traction locally (UK Midlands) but not a huge amount. Tempted to suggest Saga and Frostgrave – not at all the same but some of the player base seems to be there now. |

I am mostly playing 30K and AoS, but when I do ancients, I either play WAB or Hail Caesar. |

I now do the vast majority of my Ancients gaming with Swordpoint: link I also enjoy Hail Caesar for the (very) occasional, enormous multi-player battle. |

Warhammer Ancients is what I play ancients with, and always will. |

WAB 1.5 still, Impetus, Dux Bellorum and Lion Rampant, in that order. Just because GW stopped publishing WAB doesn't mean you can't play it. It's a great set of rules. |

To the strongest Saga Command and Colors Clif |

I still like "Legion" for big battles. |
TodCreasey | 16 Jun 2017 12:13 p.m. PST |
Hail Caesar and Saga are both doing well here, WAB wasn't ever big though. DBMM is popular in 15mm too. |

I am playing Triumph! for Ancient and Medieval battles. A very light point system, 648 armies so far, battle cards for additional flavor, and a fantasy version in the works. wgcwar.com Low cost of entry too at $15 USD for the rules and free online army lists. |

Fields of Glory would have made a much better name for a set of rules but they did not choose it (Field of Glory, actual name). |
Corporal Agarn | 16 Jun 2017 4:09 p.m. PST |
I've stuck with WAB , tinkered with Hail Caesar, occasionally play SAGA |
Khusrau | 16 Jun 2017 4:14 p.m. PST |
Well, still playing DBMM2, as it feels like an army, not a glorified skirmish with a couple of cohorts per side. WAB made absolutely no impression locally. There were more players still playing WRG 6th Edition than ever took up WAB. |
TMPWargamerabbit | 16 Jun 2017 4:16 p.m. PST |
Its between Hail C and Clash of Empires around the warren for 28mm gaming. SAGA for the skirmish gaming with Lion Rampart. Michael aka Wargamerabbit Southern California. |

Still playing WAB 2.0 occasionally but also To The Strongest and occasional games of Kings of War. Mostly To The Strongest Mike |
Ten Fingered Jack | 17 Jun 2017 3:41 a.m. PST |
The last game I played was WAB 2. It was also the first time I used the 2nd edition. Element based games with miserable little 15mm figs may just as well be board games using cardboard counters. |

I gave up wab and stick pretty much to DBA three now. |

Another vote for Hail Caesar |

WAB1.5 – Stopped for a while, but went back to the version that always gave a fun game! |
