We played a large 15mm SYW game with eleven brigades a side using Koenig Krieg rules at this month's meeting of the DWG.

The rules performed well with this size of game.

One of the few 15mm games of any kind I have seen from across the pond. Very nice look to the game and the figures are lovely. Wish I could have been there!

Impressive collection and nice AAR, Vive le France!

Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful figures. Looks like it was a good game. Hope to have a similar 7YW collection someday.

I have found the Koenig Krieg still holds up for large scale 15mm battles.

The penultimate war game must be a SYW game – and in 15 mm because it gives the best balance of easy to see figures against a reasonable figure to ground scale. And the rules need to allow a turn to approximate 15-20 minutes of real time and turns should take approximately just as long. Oh, and it needs to look good. I believe we have a check on all, or most, of those items here.

Thank you very much Mr Steve for the game, it was a most enjoyable day at the wargame table.
