The article had me until it started to place whether or not the US "won" the war in debunked "myths". Whether the US won, or the South Vietnamese lost or whether the war somehow had a direct effect on other SE Asian nations not going communist are all great topics of conversation and absolutely not black and white issues. What started out good ended as a diatribe justifying the war. I think it was structured that way to suck in readers to make that argument. |

There are so many myths about the US involvement in SE Asia. A few hundred years from now it may be thought of like the Lost City of Atlantis. |
