Has anyone heard if there are any new changes to the rules set or the campaign from the last version? |

I spoke with Howard Whitehouse yesterday at NJCON. he said there are some small changes, but he didn't elaborate. |

I've played the new version with Howard several times now, but I never played the old version. Some minor changes to the damage table is all I can remember. Slick new book, hard covered instead of soft. I'd pick it up if you don't have the old version. |

I read somewhere that there were going to be some additional rules that were cut from the original version due to space constraints. Armoring limousines is what sticks in my mind, but there were some other little changes as well. BWW |

Yes, I think that the armoured cars bit is new, and cars don't explode quite so easily as they did. Aside from that – same rules, but very snappy new clothes. Great artwork and presentation. The authors are alleged to be very happy, and plan on buying new-to-them Ford Model As. |

I've been told by the nice cars salesman that the previous owner of mine was a little old lady who only drove it to town for church. I tightened up the fisticuffs section, added about four paragraphs of new Car stuff, and that's about it. |

I found that the original campaign was TOO big, it worked awkwardly. Too many businesses, why go to war when both sides can make TONS of cash? The campaign would take forever. I hope they made changes to the campaign. Also the hand to hand with both guys having a high rating would go on forever. Good set of rules BUT the campaign while very large was too large and too unwieldy. Also NPC gangs were never really explained in the rules on how they actually work in a campaign. I had expressed my opinions on these and asked for clarifications and did not get much of a response. I hope it's not another Osprey publish of the original rules. I hope they have fixed the problems I noticed before. |
