"Pandemic is an unusually good game. The legacy version of the title is the best-rated game of all time over on Board Game Geek, the IMDB of board games. The original Pandemic offers cooperative, rather than competitive, play and invites players to experience a slightly different story each time they play it. Now, nine years on from its original release, there are a multitude of expansions and variations available to players looking for virus-themed fun. We're gonna take you on a whirlwind ride through the best of them…" Main page link Amicalement Armand

It really is a good game. I have played it with friends a few times, and winning the can be a challenge. Note that Pandemic is a cooperative game, not a competitive one, so either everyone wins (you find a cure for all the diseases), or you all lose (the entire world is infected with 1-4 plagues). |

I bought some figures a while back from Elhiem that represent various civil authorities for modern/post apocalyptic/zombie games, and I recall reading somewhere that these were originally inspired by Pandemic. There are four or so sets. link link |

As a kid I always had a weird fascination with these old posters. I'm sure some of these could be adapted for the gaming table. Dan
