Hi guys Some French Legere or light infantry finished on commission, all 15mm ABs, its stormy here today and the light is horrible, I hate using my flash, it makes the figures/colours look weird, its hard to see them without the flash, but the look more natural with out it, anyway some pics with and without flash, all comments welcome. dan.dunbar@hotmail.com More pics here link

Funny. I always think French Light Infantry should be dull, in that single colour. Somehow they often seem to work out better than the line units. For flash photography you have done well indeed! For 15/18mm to get the white lace like that…..brilliant. I once pronounced here that French Light Infantry did not have drums, but horns. I then was reminded that Light Infantry Regt men are not the same as Light company men of a Line Regt. Woops…… Pointy cuffs I equally thought were essential. But Naw…..not so! Square, blue cuffs and with red slashes is indeed given as a variant Love them. |
