Yep – those were the days – Airfix figures one tried to modify – half the figures in a box were useless poses – etc…

Sorry, Ghecko, but no Airfix on that table. I know because that's my group (though I was absent when the newspaper guy showed up). Lots of Scrubys, some Alberkans.

Do you know how much grief I got from the other guys the one time I had to rush to a game straight from work and forgot to take off my tie? Good old days, indeed!

Someone should organize a "Throwback" gaming event or weekend, where the oldest figures are used, old rules are played, and the guys have to wear argyle socks, horn-rimmed specs, crew cuts, and shirts with ties and cardigans.
