I finally managed to finish something, a 1/56th scale building from Charlie Foxtrot Models. This is his "Dormer House 2" kit. This is an MDF laser cut kit and it comes packaged in a ziplock bag. It fits in a ziplock bag because it has already been punched out from the MDF "sprues". It took a little bit of time to sort out the parts but it certainly saved weight and could be shipped in a much smaller box.

I choose to try photo realistic "textures" on this building to see how much painting I could avoid. For my first attempt I'm pretty please with the results. There were definitely some lessons to be taken away from this build and hopefully the next one will come out even better.
