Does anyone know if the heroquest barbarian having a broken sword a common issue? Was it a manufacturing thing? I have (second hand, bought on different occasions) two that look like the sword blade has been clipped or chewed off at the base. I came across another for sale recently. Coincidence?

Also I have a similar issue with the elf.

May it have been a bad batch or were they just that easy to break?

PS: Had issues with the post. If TMP see this and could cross it to Fantasy RPG, or something on board games, much appreciated.

I doubt it was any type of defect and more to do with them being plastic models owned almost 100% by young children just starting out with miniatures based games.

I still have the original game that was played with my daughter and now my grand-daughter; all the figures were/are intact.

I still have two copies and all figures are intact after a multitude of moves cross country since then.
