I can't keep it out of my head. The absolutely superb painting on the Claymore Castings 28 mm range of French or Italian/Genoese Pavasiers is outstanding. Painted by the immensely talented avalonindustries2040 (and featured on CoolMiniOrNot site) the faces, the muted clothing colours, and weapons combine with the Claymore sculpts (Brian Phillips?) is the best eye candy I have seen for a while. Look at the expressions on the two characters. The natural postures. Fantastic. claymorecastings.co.uk Link to Claymore Castings. coolminiornot.com/393297 Link to CoolMiniOrNot. |

Captain DEwell, Matt is my son, the talented one out of the two of us. |

I just acquired some Claymore Castings HYW figures via an auction and I must say that they're very well done figures plus add that they were painted by the seller which was an added bonus. And eventhough they're 28mm it seems that they're a tad small compared to Perry which is what I have the most figures from. It seems that all 28mm aren't all the same size. I do intend to use them in my French HYW Medieval Army. |
