From the PT Dockyard's secret French armor workshop….

CDL-4 French S-40 with three man AMX turret/47mm SA37………$8.00

Thanks to my introduction a few years ago to the French magazine GBM, I have a renewed love of French "what if" tanks. So here is, let's say, a "Monstre français de guerre intermédiaire!" There was a projected design for a three man turret for the Somua S-40. This would carry the excellent long SA-37 47mm gun, making this tank the rough equivalent to the Pz-III with the long 5cm gun.

Cast in white resin. Barrel is an insert, not a resin casting

If you're trying to say "interwar", I would go with "entre-deux-guerres". "Intermédiaire" is more for the middle position in an action or a middle-man/negotiator. The English word that's derived from practically falls into the same usage. Ex. The M3 Lee was the intermediary between the 37mm M2 Medium and the 75mm M4 Sherman.

He didn't mean "interwar," he is talking about mid-war.

For that, it would be something like "mi-guerre." But these tank designs are ones that could have come out mid-war, but were being designed before WWII started.

That's a cool little hot-rod! Will have to pester the French players, see if they want any. I'm trying to finish off my Weird War Krauts before I go anywhere else.
