"When development first began back in 2012, ‘God Particle' was meant to be a new micro-budget thriller from Paramount's Insurge Pictures that would hopefully replicate the success of ‘Paranormal Activity'. However, the sci-fi feature written by Oren Uziel and directed by Julius Onah has since evolved to be a part of J.J. Abrams' ‘Cloverfield' universe. But just how will it be connected to the 2008 found footage monster movie and last year's '10 Cloverfield Lane'? Some leaked plot details might have the answer. Reddit user Dratliff21 recently shared an extended synopsis for ‘God Particle' that was briefly posted in a survey on Swagbucks. While it reiterates the info from the previously released blurb that includes a physics experiment, a terrified crew of astronauts, and a harbinger of doom, we finally have some character names, specifics of their mission, and some fairly concrete ‘Cloverfield' connections.
