Well May saw a little planned bump in the road towards my yearly target as I had a little spend on 6mm for my colonials

So May finally saw me finish the 12 28mm Border Reviers (18 months from purchase to completion) and some WWII tanks and figs.

The big Purchase was British for my Colonial wars so the plan is now as follows

1) Start the British
2) Complete my WWII armour in 28mm (6 on the go at the moment)

Just have not been able to start painting again. Still holding at -72 for the year.

Figures from the Flint & Feather kickstarter showed up, beautiful figures all 28 of them. Bought 17 Tradition 25mm TYW figures more as souvenirs than anything else. I do have 18 figures on the table that are close to being ready but now need to get back to painting.

I started my first commission in May! You'll be seeing them coming to a Kickstarter soon… ;)

Big move in June, so I expect some slowdown while I disassemble my paint station and reassemble it in the new home.

I bought eight more 28mm Vikings from Gripping Beast, but most of my GB order was shield decals. To set against that, I painted 19 figures, one an Irish cavalryman with horse. Not impressive, but a positive month, never the less.

For the year, 37 human figures purchased and 49 humans and a horse painted, so I'm ahead for the year.

Only thing I did this month was 15 road sections, each about 15" long.

I'm at approx. +25 for the year, so its a lot better than average.

I have about 300 figures showing up tomorrow from the painter so June is already looking up.

Acquired – nothing (unless bare metal bases count)

"Painted" – nothing

But primed about 1,000 figures – mostly Old West but also the rest of my African Animals set up (though more animals to be added)

Also cleaned and have ready from priming all the rest of my various and sundry animals, domestic and wild.

Have on order and already shipped is a very large order of lots more sheet metal bases that should keep me supplied for a while.

Now if I can get some time to actually paint.
