I have had some time to paint today so I put it to good use. My Rebel Cavalry is coming along nicely

picture
still work to do but I'm getting there.
So hopefully it will be sooner rather than later when I actually get them finished and based.
So thanks for looking
Cheers for now Russ

Agree – love the way you make those Dixons pop!

I don't always paint ACW Confederate cavalry, but when I do, I paint Dixon's Miniatures.

When I looked at the unpainted figures I thought that the guys with the beards looked like union officer heads for some reason. Now that they are painted they look awfully reb to me. Sawed off shotguns(very Terrys Texas Rangers), pistol, bugler, sword, carbine, a great mix of weapons. And, as always, your figures look great. TIG

Thanks guys, sorry for the delay in responding but between my Birthday then a late shift followed by an early as thrown my plans out of the window. So now put things right.

Wolverine, thank you for your kind words, they are coming along nicely.

Frederick thank you also, I do love painting Dixon minis and hopefully the results speak for themselves.

dBerczerk, I'm the same but painting one unit is never enough.

TIG, thank you also. Reb Cavalry deserves that bit of extra time required to mix the uniforms and weaponry. I'm a Rebel at heart! But I'm guessing that shows.

So thanks again guys and I will post more pics once they are finished! That's both units.
Thanks for looking
Cheers for now Russ
