Again, I think you don't get it … If you disagree with me … keep it civil without vitriol, distain/disdain, contempt, being insulting, demeaning, etc. with replies and comments. Even use humor, I'll respond appropriately. Based on how some "talk" to me in their posts. Surely you get that ? But again, if not … that is not on me.

you have to expect an argument in return. That's the nature of discussion. Not every disagreement is a personal attack.

There was plenty of the former in that thread,as should have been expected; I saw none of the latter. Maybe you see it differently.

Nevertheless, on a personal level,if you can point to any examples where I myself was being "insulting,demeaning, etc." in responding to you, I will gladly apologize.

I can't even see the link(?). Regardless, there is nothing wrong with having a civil "argument". But it's better to have a "discussion". I don't even expect it to be respectful … but certainly not disrespectful. As I said, I will respond in kind.

And regardless I don't want or expect anyone to apologize. But I feel I stated my take on the whole "conundrum". And again Bill is the moderator, and he is in charge. As many know I've frequently Snipped, Deleted, DH'd and even locked out twice.

So I'm no angel, nor nice guy, etc., but if I see or believe I'm being attacked, justifiably or not. If it is done in a civil manner, then again, I'll respond in kind. As should be expected. Too many have a bias against me, for any number of reasons. That is clear to me and it appears to Bill also. As he too is a frequent "target".

I know I get along with many on TMP, more than I don't. And we may even disagree or agree or agree to disagree. I remember only a very few times that you & I had a less than civil exchange. If you think otherwise that is OK. As Bill frequently says, "use the stifle or ignore "button".

There can't be anything that I possibly can say that could really be that "important" to you or you really could care about. I'm sure of it. Write me off as that "crazy old man at the end of the street". So stifle me if this "situation"/"matter" with me is not to your "liking".
