Did any kid ever play with their "innocent" toys innocently? None that I knew. |

Well, maybe not girls. My daughter's toys get along swimmingly. All my toys fought constantly- both internal conflicts, and against other toy races/species/whatever. Oh, the long, bloody struggle 'twixt the day-glo dinos and army men. |

I don't know if my young grandson would be appalled by what's happened to Thomas the Tank Engine or if he'd want one of these for his own! |

My cop buddy had several of the 1/6 scale swat figures that people had given him. When his daughter got into Barbie they ended up playing Barbie's crack house and did CQB entries leading frequently to Ken's arrest. |

Snickies, that was AWESOME, even the old, groaner joke! Thanks for sharing. I think my friend's grandson may be old enough to appreciate, as he's a 'former Thomas fan', but we'll see. Doug |

Did any kid ever play with their "innocent" toys innocently? Re-reading the thread suddenly reminded me of a tiny rocking horse on the cousin's farm, which I visited each summer in elementary school. Basically, a board with a silhouette head, and two rounded boards for rockers. I remember using the thing as a viking-style boat. Doug |
