I use Citadel paints as my main paint source, but I hate the stupid bottles they come in. Recently I've seen a lot of people using GW paints in dropper bottles. They buy empty dropper bottles and pour in the GW paint. So I decided to give this a go.

It's a slow process, but I love the dropper bottles over the paint pots. So I'll slowly switch over the rest of the paints.

Some more pics and write up my blog:

Brilliant idea, I need some empty bottles thanks for the heads up

That's pretty cool. But it also reminds me why I switched to Reaper…already sold in dropper bottles, with a little metal skull inside for mixing the paint!

Wait what, metal skull? Where do.I get that?

Interesting idea. I used to refill my old Citadel Inks droppers with Windsor & Newton when they ran out. I will think about this.

At any rate, it would have saved me a lot of headache yesterday, when I turned over a jumbo pot of Citadel wash- less than 24 hours since I bought it!

Reaper no longer has the metal skulls in the eyedroppers. ):

I don't like the GW type but I hate the dropper bottles, and much prefer the foundry type.

Nice work. I use craft paint for minis painting and a while back I transferred my craft paint to dropper bottles. Made it easy to bring more dropper bottles with me and of course more control over the product.

However, I'm not sure why but, recently I've gone back to just using the regular craft paint bottles. Maybe because I found a Plano case that carries them well.

Your Citadel paints should last longer in these bottles, too. FYI Amazon sells various size dropper bottle like this
I bought a huge bag of them and it wasn't very much.
