West Sussex library services have just launched a new oral military history project called "Military Voices". Lots of good anecdotes and stories, and not just WW1 & WW2. More details over on my blog: link |

In America, the University of Tennessee has a department called War and Society, iirc, which contains a massive number of recordings as part of the oral history project. All are interviews with veterans. Good to see oral history projects in both the USA and Britain. |

@~RudyNelson: Are the recordings available on-line? If so a link would be awesome. The beauty of this is that the "best bits" are available free on-line. |
